The first thing you will need to do is go to http://cp.fedweb.co.uk and enter your control panel username and password.
The main menu allows you to update your personal details, change your email settings and view your web site statistics.
When you first go to your email settings there will be a "postmaster" account set up to forward all emails to

The postmaster recipient for your domain is the one that collects all mail that hasn't been set to go elsewhere and redirects it to your current email address. That doesn't mean that email has to be addressed to postmaster@yourdomain, it can be addressed to info@yourdomain, fred@yourdomain in fact anything@yourdomain! You can change where the postmaster forwards to simply by clicking on "postmaster" and entering any email address.
If you have our basic service (available with domain registration) you will probably only have a postmaster recipient. This means that all mail to your domain is redirected to another address. If you want sales@yourdomain to go to one place, and info@yourdomain to go somewhere else, for instance, you will need to upgrade to one of our forwarding accounts or have your web site hosted with us.
If you do have your web site with us and you receive a lot of junk mail you can leave the postmaster forwarding address blank. This will mean that you will only receive emails on the specific recipients you add. All other emails to randomnames@yourdomain.co.uk will be deleted instantly.
If you click on the "Add recipient" button you will see this screen. You can now enter the details for your mailbox: you need to enter a valid recipient name, ie: sales or joe.bloggs, there should be no spaces and the only recommended punctuation characters you should use are period, dash or underscore.
Then set the Enable mailbox checkbox and enter a password into the Mailbox password box - this is the password you will need when setting up your mail client.

You should not enter a Forward to address unless you also want the mail to be redirected to another email address, and you can ignore the other settings on this page for now. Finally click the Add button.

You should now be back at the main email settings page, and this will show your mailbox name in the Mailbox name column.
When setting up an email in Outlook or Outlook Express you will be asked for an account name, for this example mailbox the account name would be john@yourdomain.co.uk.
PLEASE NOTE: You can only set up Outlook or Outlook Express to work with a MAILBOX.
The password would be whatever you set on the Add Recipient page.
To find out how to set up Outlook Express or access your mailbox using a web browser from anywhere around the world, please go to our help section.
If you have an advanced account where you can add extra recipients, you can add additional emails that will forward emails on to another email address address. This is called email forwarding.
e.g. you could set up sales@yourdomain.co.uk to forward to john@yourdomain and sally@yourdomain.co.uk.
or you could get advice@yourdomain.co.uk to forward to bill@yourdomain.co.uk and bill@hotmail.com.
To add a forwarding recipient click on the "Add Recipient" button from the email settings menu. You will see the following screen:

As you can see in this example, the email john@yourdomain.co.uk will forward to john@sample.com.
In this example the optional Autoresponder is set. This will send back an instant reply to the sender. The Reply-to field can normally be left empty. If it is set and the sender replies to your Autoresponder, their reply will go to the email specified.
